My working experiences

Mauro Gandini
born in 1971 in Milan, Italy.
In 1994 graduate at European Design Institute in Milan, he worked as illustrator for the best advertising Agencies.
As sculptor he is experienced in stop motion animation as set designer and it had shaped most characters of the best Masters (Warner, Disney, Hanna & Barbera, Anime and Italian comics) for most consumer products.
In 1996 he was requested to belong to the big family of the artists of the Walt Disney Co., where he begun a quinquennial collaboration sculpting their characters and producing gadgets and toys for them.
In 1999, during the Year Meeting of the Walt Disney Company he received a Golden Mickey Mouse as the best artist.
For the period 1999/2005 as author he collaborates in many projects among which:
- the execution of sculptures for Les Editions Du Café (Sky Doll)
- design and execution of the erotic pin ups for Twisingtoyz (distributed in France by Rackam company)
- the creative path of the film ''L'uovo'' of which he is the designer of the characters, together with his partner Eloisa Scichilone.
- he attends to a new film: ''Dear Anne'' in which he is the official sculptor and supervises the 3D molding of the characters.
- he also teaches in a course of Digital Design at the Istituto Marangoni, Italy.
- the execution of his last sculptures, made for Infinitestatue, a new and very dynamic Italian brand who is trading in limited hand made collections.
